The SubMas Night Before Christmas Stamp Rally

Twas the night before Christmas, Battle Sub was a-bustle
From families and agents to Axews and Crustles
The schedule was followed, the signal's All Clear
It was time for the Subway Masters to appear!

Pokemon were nestled in their Pokeballs,
Waiting to battle on their trainer's calls
And Cilan in his apron and Ash in his cap,
Had just double-teamed up for the last rally stamp.

When out on the tracks the train came with a clatter
"The Bosses are coming!" you could hear the crowd chatter.
Away to the line they all flew like a flash,
Each Pokemon trainer, Iris, Cilan, and Ash.

The trainers were gathered alongside the track
Waiting for the conductors in white and in black.
When, what to their wondering eyes should be seen
But twin sideburned Santas, in stripes red and green!

They waved to the crowd, tossing presents to all,
These odd gray-eyed Santas so skinny and tall.
The crowd soon grew hushed, and anxious as before,
"Now this is the moment you've been waiting for!"

"We thank you for playing, and hope you had fun!
Please stay for our party once the battle is done.
Now Ash and Cilan are the winners once more!
Please proceed for a rematch in car number four!"

The trainers were ready, the two Santas appeared,
And then, in a twinkling, they threw off their beards.
They spoke not a word, as they shed their disguise
With a snap, the car opened and grew to gym-size!

More rapid than Quick Attack, the battle was on
And the two teams each released their first Pokemon:
"Go Pansage!" Cilan said. "Pikachu I choose you!
Let's give them a rematch! Show what we can do!"

"On Durant!" Said Emmet "Chandelure!" Ingo said,
And in perfect unison, shout "Full Speed Ahead!"
"Thundershock!" "Bullet Seed! Give it your all!"
"Durant! Use Rock Slide!" "Chandelure! Shadow Ball!"

The battle was closer this time, they all knew,
But the trainers still were not a match for these two
So, before Durant could deliver the final Metal Claw,
They decided, for Christmas, to give them a draw.

And after the battle was over that eve,
They all had more fun than they could believe.
They ate many treats, and lit up a huge tree,
Then partied and danced until 10:43.

And pointing a finger ahead, as they say,
"All aboard! Point your finger to signal OK!"
And you could hear them exclaim, 'ere the train pulled away,
"Merry Christmas to all from the Battle Subway!"
