What's For Dinner?

Characters: Lisa x Kōichi, with Ponyo and Sōsuke appearing as well
"Something smells good!" Kōichi said, coming into the kitchen and peeking over Lisa's shoulder. "Ha! I knew I smelled your famous age-tofu!"
"Sōsuke's favorite," she grinned as Kōichi snuck a peck on the cheek. It was nice having him home.
…Except when he drank the rest of her last beer. "Hey, that's mine, you thief!" she swatted her dish towel in his direction. "Just call me Lupin Sansei!" he grinned mischievously and started humming the theme song just loud enough for her to hear, playing like he was trying to 'steal' a piece of the tofu she had just taken out of the fryer.
"Hey, is that squid?" he stopped.
"Oh yeah, they had a special at the market. I thought it might be nice to have it with the tofu."
"But… Do you really think you should serve that? I mean, it is kind of a fish, right?"
"So?"
"So, Ponyo used to be a fish! Wouldn't that be kind of—"
"Oh no! You're right! Ah, what was I thinking!?"

"We're back!" Of course Sōsuke and Ponyo chose that moment to return from playing outside.
"We're ba~ack!" Ponyo practiced the greeting, "We were down by the beach, and some of my sisters got to play with me and Sōsuke!"
"Yeah! We played hide and seek in the water, and I let them ride in my boat!"
He noticed Lisa and Kōichi making a frantic effort to hide the squid. "What are you doing?"
"Oh, nothing! Nothing!"
"Mmmmm! Is that squid? SQUID!" Ponyo ran over and grabbed a piece from behind Kōichi, eating it raw in one gulp.
"I guess I forgot that fish eat other fish sometimes…"
